Cesare De Agostini intended to complete the epic of Tazio Nuvolari, the champion of champions - to whom like no other he had dedicated in-depth studies and research - by recalling the motorcycling exploits of the first decade of his career, so full of vicissitudes and adventures. Unfortunately, fate did not allow Cesare to go beyond the note-taking stage.

However, the spirit of initiative, the cultural sensitivity and the cult of the memories of motoring of the ASI-Automotoclub Storico Italiano, with the precious contribution of the "Scuderia Nuvolari Italia" as well as the passion and professional competence of Gian Paolo Grossi have made it possible to completing the entire work, an authentic historical work that remains as a testimony of sport at the highest level and of one of the most intensely lived lives.
